Badass Women! Plus, Erik Jensen & Jessica Blank
A Monday morning hello.
If you are a mom (and that includes dog moms and cat moms), have a mom, or just know a great mom, I hope you had a nice Mother’s Day. And if you’re not a fan of said holiday, I hope you had a great Sunday.
I spent my weekend playing board games, watching movies (Blink Twice, The Shining, and Desperately Seeking Susan, all obvious Mother’s Day choices), reading, snuggling with the cats, eating great food, and viewing amazing art. Not a bad way to spend a few days.
Yesterday, my fam and I went to the Norman Rockwell Museum and saw the Anita Kunz: Original Sisters exhibit. It’s so good.
Hundreds of portraits of phenomenal, badass women, including one that I’ve interviewed, one that I’ve reached out to for an interview, and many that I wish I’d had the chance to interview.




One of the best parts was watching moms and dads take their kids around for a scavenger hunt, helping them to find a specific image and explaining who each portrait subject was and why their contributions were important. L…
