Buh Bye 2025!
A look back at a wild year.
It’s hard to believe yet another year is coming to a close. And man, what a year it was.
I’ll spare you all the negative details because I’m sure you’ve felt it yourself. Everything—from the professional to the personal to the political—was steeped in a murky soup of anxiety, sadness, and gloom.
But, there were moments of light in all the dark and I want to reflect on them now. Because without you, gorgeous reader, none of this would have happened.
The Numbers
This year Creative Reverberations published a whopping 47 interviews, amounting to roughly 134,000 words!
And that’s not including interview outtakes, recommendations, curated music playlists, and other bonus content.
Among the creatives interviewed, there were 16 writers, 10 musicians, 6 directors, 4 illustrators, 3 actors, 2 designers, 2 editors, and a CEO, cinematographer, composer, and makeup artist.

The Random
The most “didn’t see that coming” moment of the year was finding out that Creative Reverberations was quoted in an article in The Week, a national print publication.
The Future
There will not be an interview this week because of the holiday, but there are many more great chats coming your way in January! Interviews with authors Brad Meltzer and Elizabeth McCracken, folk singer Courtney Hartman, and Ryan Coogler’s go-to editor, Michael Shawver, are just a few already scheduled.
