Happy Monday! Here’s your weekly dose of creative goodness.
Reading: A publicist recently sent me an advanced copy of Mia Zapata & The Gits: A Story of Art, Rock, and Revolution. Written by Gits’ drummer Steve Moriarty, the book (due out tomorrow) chronicles the life and talents of the late, legendary Mia Zapata, who was murdered in 1993, just as the band was on the cusp of signing with a major label. She was such a phenomenal talent, and the book is definitely worth checking out.
