What it is

Creative Reverberations features inspiring, educational, entertaining, wide-ranging conversations with creatives about their work, their influences, how they break through creative blocks, and what keeps them going.

What you get

Exclusive in-depth conversations with creatives across every artistic discipline. Every interview includes behind-the-scenes stories, advice on maintaining a creative practice, and inspiring lessons about the importance of the arts.

What paid subscribers get

  • The weekly exclusive interviews

  • Bonus interview content

  • Recommendations on things to watch, read, and listen to

  • Music playlists

  • Access to the entire archive of 100+ interviews and posts

Why pay?

Because in the face of slashed budgets, layoffs, and publication closures, independent journalism is one of the only ways to access in-depth, thoughtful interviews with creatives.

When it became obvious that the traditional media outlets I’d been writing for were cutting back on arts and entertainment coverage, I decided to continue my work on my own, and that’s how Creative Reverberations was born.

Running this publication is a full-time job. Each interview requires many hours of work—requesting the interview, scheduling the interview, researching, writing questions, conducting the interview, transcribing the interview, writing the lede, proofreading and editing the content (multiple times), laying it out with photos and links, and then marketing the interview on various social media platforms.

In addition to that, there are significant costs to maintaining the publication—website hosting, domain fees, transcription services, business email hosting, Zoom fees, office supplies, and more.

Paid subscriptions keep everything going.

Who am I?

I’m a lifelong arts lover with nearly 30 years of experience in arts administration. Over the course of my career, I’ve worked as a personal assistant, an executive assistant, a film festival director, a film programmer, a production assistant, a fundraiser for nonprofit arts organizations, and an independent journalist. I’ve interviewed hundreds of actors, authors, musicians, comedians, screenwriters, and behind-the-scenes creatives for various publications, including The Cut, AARP, Shondaland, Writer’s Digest Magazine, Next Avenue, FLOOD Magazine, and BrainWise Media, among others.

Hi

Aside from my job, I’m a mom (to a teenage human and two elderly cats), a wife, a chocoholic, an avid reader, a painter, a music lover, and a traveler. You can learn a bit more about me on Instagram and my website.
