When I launched this Substack thingamajig last year, one of my goals was to talk to some of my favorite artists about some of their favorite artists. Who do creatives turn to when they need a dose of inspiration? What books, shows, films, paintings influenced the work that they’ve made?
As a thanks to my paid subscribers, I began creating monthly-ish roundups of music playlists and links to the various things that creatives I’ve interviewed said have inspired or influenced them.
I’m a bit behind in sending this (it happens), so this time around I’m including two months’ worth of goodies, covering April and May.
